Event Project Manager

We are an exhibition stand design and build specialist working directly with an international client base that includes The Bank of England, Asics, The Financial Times, Virgin Holidays, and hundreds of other corporate, SME, and charitable organisations.

Event Manager (Full-time) – Poole

We are seeking a motivated, organised, and detail-orientated individual to join our busy Event Project Management team.

Our Event Project Management function is a busy and occasionally intense environment, where demands and priorities can change by the hour, and sometimes by the minute.

The Event Project Managers plan, organise, coordinate and manage the design, production, logistics and installation/dismantle of each of their assigned projects at trade shows, predominantly in the UK, and also in Europe.

The workload varies according to the seasonal demands of the business, with each individual typically managing between 20 and 50 individual projects simultaneously. The life cycle of each project is approximately 3 months,

Technical knowledge is not required for a new team member as full training is provided.

This is an office-based role and is not suitable for home or remote working.

Character and personality are as important to us as skills and experience. Commercially aware; quick-minded and alert; energetic with a good work ethic; able to grasp ideas and concepts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Event Management, or related field is an advantage
• Experience in event planning is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word & Excel)
• Ability to work in fast paced environment with tight deadlines
• Must have own reliable transportation with valid driving licence
